We host regular arts opportunities in Gloucester communities
Please come and join us for our GAS Projects Xmas Party at Matson Baptist church on Weds 18th December. All welcome between 1-3pm and 11-16 year olds are welcome from 3.30 - 5.30pm.
You will also be able to see the Beautiful Christmas Tree Festival, organised by our fabulous colleagues from GL4CIC in the main hall, showcasing a huge display of trees created by the many community groups across the Matson, Robinswood and White city ward.
1-3pm – All welcome to come and join us for a delicious home-cooked Pakistani lunch. You don’t need to be creative, just come along and enjoy the lunch, where we will have some festive arts activities for those interested in what goes on in our Matson Makers group.
3.30 - 5.30pm – If you are 11-16 years old, please come along and join our GAS Projects Art School in Matson group for Xmas party snacks, arts and crafts.
Christmas Tree Festival
Local organisations across the Matson, Robinswood & White City ward have each created their own Christmas Tree that will be on display at Matson Baptist Church alongside fantastic Christmas activites!

HAF Winter Workshop
Friday 3rd January 2025 11am-3pm
We are running a free art session for young people aged 11-16 years old at the GRC Scrapstore in Gloucester. It'll be an exciting workshop where we will be playing and experimenting with a range of materials to create exciting and effective 2D and 3D creations - all focussing on your ideas, creative thinking and problem solving.
Artists we will be exploring during the session include Yayoi Kusama, Sol Lewitt, Toyin Ojih Odutola, and Jean Michel Basquiat. You will make a range of individual artworks to take home - sculptural and drawn.
